Muslims get their information about Islam by reading the books written by scholars of Islam. These are apologetic books that deceitfully try to portray Islam in the best light, showing that Muhammad was a holy man and the Qur'an is a "scientific book." Therefore, they feel no need to look elsewhere in order to find the truth, as they are convinced that they have already found it.
As Muslims say “Talabe ilm ba’d az wossule ma’loom mazmoom.”The search for knowledge after gaining it is unwise.
This is a huge mistake of course. What if we want to learn the truth about one of these dangerous cults? Is it enough to depend only on what the cult leader and his deluded followers say? Wouldn’t it be prudent to widen our research and find out what other people have to say about them? Going to the source makes sense only in scientific matters, because scientists are not “believers.” They do not say something because they have blind faith. Scientists make a critical analysis of the evidence. It is very different from the religious approach which is based entirely on faith and belief.
Idiots Guide To Islam is a series of videos and a web site made by Arab ex-muslims, who studied the qur'an & ahadith thoroughly, and expose islam as a dangerous cult by showing evidence from islam's 'holy' books.

Hi, I'm what u call a liberal Muslim. which means i dont exactly follow all that is told by Islam..... However i know this much , that a Muslim is suppose to question his own religion more than anyone else, only then will he be able to explain to shit heads like you what islam is. and u're not suppose follow every freakin book about islam and believe on it blindly...research !!! thats the core of our religion. only then can u find the answers...
i get an abundance of fwded emails containing Ahadits and different facts about the religion, for.eg. dont say Mohd, it means the mouth of a dog, dont say mosque, it is derived from mosquito....dont say mecca, it means wine...and other stuff like that.....the amazing fact is that i dont even have to open the Qur'aan for finding such answers....as simply logging on to google.com gives alot of true facts....where non muslims themeselves have cleared these statements to be hoax...and if u read the history u'll find the answers...history written and recorded by non muslims... :) so try to research and then implement about what is right or wrong...thats all what islam tells u... be a society and not a menace :p
you cannot say with any rational credibility, that islam is not a menace. I've read the koran, and the verses concerning ''disbelievers'' are NOT peaceful...
islam wasn't, isn't and never will be a religion of peace.
